Wallaby flanker Dean Mumm will miss the New South Wales Waratahs' two South African Super 14 tour games this month after receiving a suspension on Sunday.

Mumm was banned for two weeks after being cited over an incident in Saturday's 30-28 win over the Reds in Brisbane.

Mumm was found guilty of barging into the back of Reds replacement hooker Saia Faingaa during a maul in the 35th minute of the second half.

He will miss the Waratahs' games against the Stormers in Cape Town and the Bulls in Pretoria.

Waratahs lock Will Caldwell and Reds lock Adam Byrnes were also cited from incidents in the feisty local derby, but were cleared by Judicial Officer Paul Tully in Sunday's hearing.

Caldwell was cleared of making contact with the eye of an opponent, while Byrnes was cleared of biting.
