RugbyZone was founded with a mission to provide rugby-loving Internet users around the world access to online rugby video. This focus has been built on over the years with increased rugby footage, new media formats and increased detailed rugby information of numerous rugby events around the globe.
Technology has evolved during this time necessitating continual development of the RugbyZone website to ensure that we take advantage of the continued advances of the new digital formats.
The core of our business is, however, the rugby itself and we constantly strive to offer premium events from around the world to make sure all of our loyal subscribers get to see all the action, from every crashing tackle to each scintillating try.
What you will receive in terms of rugby video is dependant on where you are located. The various rugby rights of the different tournaments are controlled by specific countries where it can be delivered to. RugbyZone controls this distribution of the video to users around the world.

As with all media players, we are constantly acquiring new rights and will continue to add to our already tremendous rugby portfolio. As and when we get new rights, we will be letting you know of the next great piece of action you can look forward to.
Of course a huge focus for us is the live rugby action, but we also make sure that you can get to see every game in whatever format you’d prefer shortly after the final whistle is blown. From highlight clips to full match video on-demand, we make sure you won’t miss a moment in whatever duration suits you.
We greatly value the feedback of our subscribers, and with all the suggestions we took on board we made a huge technology leap forward in February 2009. We switched to Flash Player streaming for a whole host of reasons, one major one being that Apple users can now join in the action.
Not content with that, you will see that we have a host of improvements that we have made to the site including new forums, live chatting, fan photos and videos, and social media website widgets, just to name a few.
All this development necessitated a Beta as well as an interim website to allow us the considerable development time to create all these new facilities, but once you have experienced all the new elements we are certain you will feel that it worth the wait.
